Returning from parental leave to resume her career was difficult until she realized that moms can still hustle and grow in their careers– it is just different than how it looked before she became a mother. Since becoming a mother, she was able to negotiate an extra work at home day and found a daycare provider that was flexible to her schedule to make it a little easier to navigate. She is a master at figuring out these mom hacks to make the mommy and career balance work for her.

Brenda was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Winston-Salem State University and her Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Trinity Washington University.
